I have a few general questions about playing as spurs. When playing games I always feel confident in the teams ability going forward, but never in the defence. I've tried to implement the 'nike' defence but I hardly ever get a clean sheet. Is it down to poor defenders? Even in my away game variant where I drop Huddlestone back as an extra DMF, I never feel confident in the teams ability to keep the opposition out. My only new signings were Defour and Galeano, and I'm playing Gallas as cover and King as stopper. Any tips appreciated.

Also

1) Which is better, Bale as a left wb + kranjar as an aml, or bale as a defensive winger aml + BAE as a wb? Bale as a defensive winger vs other roles?
2) Defoe vs Crouch to start?

1. It depends on your playing style. If you use AML as winger who cross the ball then definitely Bale. If you use Inside Forward play Kranjcar instead.

2. What crossing type do you prefer? If you use Float Crossing then Crouch but if you use Drill then of course Defoe to start.
