I meant if he was still in charge, i.e. his tactics and substitutions would have enusred Chelsea didn't throw away a lead three times

I can kinda understand Grant's subsitutions except for the joe cole one.... Ramos is superb at making substutions won several games in Spain by making changes tactically. Grant is basically dead man walking.....he has no top flight pedigree which doesn't help, mourinho got time to build his team but the structure was set in place by Ranieri.
