Just noticed what may be a bug. Just tried to get Leandro Damiao to agree to a deal where he wanted £100,000 a week and i was offering £70,000.

Cheekily offered him a seasonal goal landmark bonus of £1 for 30 goals. He accepted.
Tried this with every contract renewal and transfer so far and all have been accepted at reduced wages. Can someone else confirm if they have done this and if it helps.

Maybe it's just because the agents are accepting the reduced wages? I've had players come to me asking for £70k and leaving with a contract worth £20k, just the luck of the agent I guess.

It could be that, its just something ive come across that has helped me seal a transfer or re-sign a player on the same wages he turned down seconds previously - i got Moussa Sissokho because i dangled the carrot of £1 if he scored 10 goals. Id offered him 60k a week on a bosman, he wanted 90k, so on the 3rd negotiaton i chucked in the goal bonus and he signed.
