Transfer/Contract Issue in New Update

After negotiations, I had a bid accepted for a player but when I clicked the 'Offer Contact' button it brings me to a page saying something like 'You have made a bid for this player. Wait until the bid is accepted to offer a contract.' I can't offer him a contract, withdraw the offer or continue as I 'must respond'. The game is now basically stuck on this date and time.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

It's ok to continue the game by going on holiday, but this bug should be fixed. I've missed out on a couple of really talented players because of this, and bugs like these take away the joy of squadbuilding.
