Franco Zuculini of Racing Club has signed for Hoffenheim, for a fee of around 4.6m euros. The midfielder has penned a 3-year deal with the German upstarts.
Junichi Inamoto has joined Rennes from Eintracht Frankfurt. The former Arsenal and Fulham player has signed a 2 year deal.
Jeremy Mathieu has joined Valencia from Toulouse on a free transfer. The 25-year old has agreed a three-year contract. Mathieu has played for Toulouse for the past four years and was regarded as one of the best left-backs in France
Twente have signed left-back Nicky Kuiper from league rivals Vitesse as a replacement for Edson Braafheid, who joined Bayern Munich last week. The 20-year-old has agreed a five-year deal with Twente, but financial terms were not disclosed
Heerenveen have completed the transfer of striker Michal Papadopulos from Mlada Boleslav for an undisclosed fee. The Czech Republic international has agreed a five-year contract with the Dutch side.
Olympiakos have signed Swedish international defender Olof Mellberg from Juventus. The 31-year-old has reportedly agreed a three-year deal worth €2.7million.
Besiktas have secured the services of German defensive midfielder Michael Fink from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. The 27-year-old moves for a fee of €1.2m having put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
Braga have announced that the club have reached a deal to send midfielder Luis Aguiar to Russian side Dinamo Moscow. The 23-year-old Uruguayan will move to the Russian capital on a four-year contract in a reported €2.5m transfer.
Glen Johnson signs for Liverpool for a fee of £18.5m. The England international was certain to leave Fratton Park this summer, with his former club Chelsea also interested. Since then, Rafa Benitez has defended paying such a large sum for the player, with the club having actually paid less than that as they wrote off the money owed to them by Portsmouth from when Peter Crouch moved to Pompey last summer.
Carlos Tevez look likely to sign for the blue side of Manchester within the next week. The Citizens are prepared to match the demands of the player, and of his 'owner', Kia Joorabchian, who wants around £25.5m for his player. He will be the third player to join City after the club signed Gareth Barry, and yesterday looked certain to finalize the deal taking Roque Santa-Cruz to the club from Blackburn, in what is expected to be a hectic transfer peroid for the club.
Michael Owen yesterday confirmed that he has played his last game in the black-and-white of Newcastle, confirming what most expected, that he will be leaving St. James Park when his contract ends on 1st July. Clubs from England and also the continent are rumoured to be interested.

Roma have agreed to sign Bari midfielder Stefano Guberti. The 24-year-old, who has inked a four-year deal, will join Roma on a free transfer when his contract with Bari expires at the end of June. Guberti, who only joined Bari in February from Ascoli, helped his side win the Italian second division title with 9 goals in 18 matches.
Bayern Munich have finally completed the signing of Croatia midfielder Danijel Pranjic from Heerenveen. The 27-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the Bundesliga giants. Bayern are reportedly paying a fee in the region of €7m for the services of Pranjic, who scored 16 goals last season. While Munich have not commented officially on Brazil defender Lucio, Andreas Ottl, Christan Lell, Jose Ernest Sosa, Breno and Tim Borowski, who have allegedly been told that they can leave for another club.

The West Siberian side have not paid their players since the start of the Russian season in March and the club are in danger of becoming a victim of the financial crisis. Tom general director Yuri Stepanov was quoted as saying they owe almost $6.5m. Stepanov added the region's major companies, such as oil giants Tomskneft who had backed the club in the past, had opted to put their money elsewhere.
