This tactic is being used for Man City and im so far half way through season, currently 7th but with my 2 games in hand a win and draw will get me to 5th. The 4 teams at the top is always gonna be the big 4 at the start of the first season unless you get lucky. Great tactic with plenty of goals scored. Good example is beating Man U 6-0 in the derby. Also got a win over chelsea at stamford bridge 3-2. I made it from lots of advice from posts on other forums by one of the developers of the game. Basically its a 4-4-2 with modified runs and sliders. May need a couple of tweeks from you to suit your team but should be pretty much good for all.
Please try this and tell me how you get on. Im gona try and put up a screeny in this post but it probably wont work cos im not sure how to do it.
