Can't get TK4-3-3 to work so may use version 2 of twister as its based on that tactic.

Hi all,

been using the first version with my Chelsea side and for some reason im now having problems.

up until March had only lost twice then after a 3-0 win away at Soton the next 11 games I won 1, drew 4 and lost 6. including a 4-0 home loss to Spurs and losing 3-1 at Bournemouth. not sure why as havnt changed anything, morale was superb... has there been a further update I have missed!?

I don't think it's the tactic or updates mate. It happens to me as well with my Dortmund team unfortunately. Up until February / March, the team is performing brilliantly & then all of a sudden, they're playing like Amateurs! Some say because the opponents (i.e. the Match Engine) 'learn' how to deal with your tactic. But for me this doesn't make sense at all. I believe it's more something sort of built in FM to make you swear & bang your head to the wall!

Happened to me with different good tactics like this one, Twister & many others. Now, what I tend to do is keep another 2 'known good' tactics in the slots, like for example Conqueror & when February / March arrives, I usually switch to them & generally, I manage to keep some sort of consistency. Not always but anyway.

i'm going to have to try another tactic, my lineup is top top, 86million for Pogba and he is getting the runabout by Jordan Rossiter at home ha! any recommendations for good tactic's?, this is the first I have used on 16.3...

Yeah, I hear you buddy regarding losing 3-0 with just 3 shots! Happens quite often unfortunately! I mean, ok, it does happen in real life but not as frequently as it happens in FM!!

Best tactics for average club?

Hi and thanks for huge work.
I see guys using famous players. But if i play Swansea and not buying world stars, just 1-2 decent players to cover needed positions, what tactics would work on patch 16.3?
Can Twister 41221 agressive tactics win against top clubs like Chelsea in EPL?
Or maybe C.Eriksen first counter tactics still works on patch 16.3? The very first counter tactics C.Eriksen used in "Let`s overachieve" post for Watford?
If yes -it maybe the best solution for weaker clubs, who are not favorites in a league.
Also Conqueror looks similar with paying much attention to defence.
Maybe starting with average club is better with Eriksen counter v1 (Watford) as i will fail to control posesion with Swansea vs teams like Totenham, Man city....and maybe switching to Twister after sucess and purchasing high quality players later?

However, from what I read on these forums, TFF's Conqueror is used by many ppl managing average teams & all seem to be happy with it. I guess you will have to try a couple of tactics mate to be sure which one is best for you.

But , perhaps , you mean this tactics, which uses man marking.
Is it big difference between it and Conqueror version for instant result?
P.S. I see that perhaps famous Conqueror tactics is very similar to Tinkerman wining 442, which i used not bad when just got FM 2016 and have won league with Swansea and Soton.
