I'm playing as Liverpool and just won the PL in the first season by a huge slice of luck on top of the most prolific attack in the league.

My primary tactic has been a 4-4-2 narrow diamond with a DLP/S, RP/S, BBM/S as the three main midfielders. The point of the diamond is either a SS or AP and full backs play as WB/A or FB/S, depending on opponent and personnel.

I've been playing my strikers as a TM/S (Ballotelli/Lambert) and DLF/A (Sturridge/Borini). Due to injuries, form the goals have been pretty much split between the four, well supported by the midfielders and fullbacks.

I would consider it largely successful, but have some reservations about the combination of stikers. I'd quite like to replace the TM role with something to allow two smaller/quicker players to combine. Are there good combinations for strikers to play together?

I would recommend having an advanced playmaker (s), trequartista and advanced forward/poacher or a second striker, deep lying forward (s) and complete forward/advanced forward

If you want both of your ST to be small, you can look into F9 - AF with an Enganche behind them.

Poacher/Advanced forward
AP

works absolutely fine for me, lot of goals & shared
