Tycoon Takeover??

Hi

Im wondering if anyone can answer this. Ive recently edited the database and set fan and board confidence to 1 for chairman Lee Stratford off Sheff Wed. Im trying to get them tookover as in real life they maybe getting tookover as they are in talks with Chicago Firm CLUB 9, plus you never get any money for transfer fees even if you get promotion.

Now that ive edited the database and started a new game, the chairman is willing to listen to offers, within 2 months he stepped down and another director took charge, BUT the club hasnt got any directors as i removed them all (again as to mimic real life events with being took over by club 9)

How do you get a tycoon or consortuism to takeover, and how can a director take over when there none there, very frustrating, lol!!

Can anyone help?

I'm afraid you just have to hope a tycoon wants to buy you, so just keep replaying the game untill they do i guess

Is it a bug though that a director takes control when there are no directors there? Do you have to keep starting the game from the beginning every time. Plus is there something in the game whereas certain clubs will not be tookover at all by a tycoon as you say "if they want to buy you"
