Just noticed Liverpool got taken over by a Tycoon in 2015 (I'm in 2019 atm), they're 12th on the richest clubs list, and 3rd in the league.
They haven't won anything since the takeover, being the losing finalist in the EL is their best accomplishment.
Can't manage them, because I've selected the option that I only can create a manager at clubs without a current manager :(
But since they're my favourite english side, I will patiently wait untill Brendon Rodgers leaves.

My everton team had just been takeover by a Hong Kong tycoon.
Well, I am from Hong Kong so may be this is the reason
Hope there will be some Hong Kong wonderkid come from the youth team, and make the Hong Kong football team way better,ha!

Coventry just got taken over first season by a Mexican Tycoon. When i get to the end of the first season .... I'll upload the save could be a cool game tho. Try and get them back playing in Coventry would be a start. lol

Steve Blitz (the former owner of Oldham Athletic) bought Southampton, putting my transfer activity under embargo going into the summer and, according to the News items, considered replacing me with Steve Clarke. Fortunately, he saw sense in the end and gave me a transfer kitty of 50million and a wage budget of 5.5million, instead.

With a bit of creative accounting (wages to transfer cash), 46million-in in player sales and 50million-out in acquisitions, I still have 54million left and a wage budget that's double what I currently need.

Three seasons ago, I bought Jack Butland from Stoke City for 9-million. I have just sold him to Monaco for 26-million, safe in the knowledge that his replacement, a 22 year-old Egyptian goalkeeper, has the same current rating but World Class potential - and he comes to me from Barcelona on a FREE, once he's finished with the 2020 Olympic Games.

Have been playing FMC and am in 2019/2020 season with Utd. Was going to start a new game as is it boring - winning too easily, got awesome squad with some good youngsters so not really signing anyone...

Have just been taken over by an Argentinian tycoon, was already loaded and he put in an extra ?350M - now got a transfer budget of ?852M and a wage bill of ?9M (lowering the wage to the minimum gives a max budget of ?1.1B!)

Is it just me or are some takeovers like coded in the game? Milan are taken over by a tycoon in 7 out of 10 saves in my game and Newcastle and Everton are also taken over quite often.

Really? I've never seen either Newcastle or Everton taken over by a tycoon.

Some clubs have chairmen who don't really want to be there so they look to sell... It's kind of coded but it's 100 percent random if they get a tycoon/business man
