UEFA Champions League: 1999-2003 Format & UEFA Cup - Download Now
Glad to say that at long last I've managed to get this working at a satisfactory level
I always preferred this format of the Champions League and it runs quite nicely in the game now, or at least it has every time I've tested it. However because the editor gave me so many problems that I can't even count anymore, I've had to make a few slight modifications in order for it to work properly. There are a few more teams in the competition than there were back then, and I'll have to reconfigure the UEFA Cup/Europa League, as well as the Intertoto Cup in order for every nation to have the correct amount of qualifying teams per competition. Also, I couldn't get the top-seeded teams to enter at the first group phase, so they now enter in the 3rd qualifying round.
NOTE: 1 or 2 nations MAY have an extra team in there because of how many teams were added to the stages in total (filler was needed in order for this to work, unfortunately). Also, anybody can play anybody in the third qualifying round, including teams from the same nation. Not sure how to configure this otherwise but if anyone can help with that it'd be appreciated.
Finally, big thanks to Toronto Blizzard over at the SI community, who has offered me assistance along the way.

UEFA Cup Now Added
The UEFA Cup is now completed and added into the file. The format is slightly different though (doesn't include knockout round of 32 after group stage), as I'm not sure how to get teams to drop out of the Champions League into the UEFA Cup. I'll also not be bothering with the Intertoto as again I don't know how to get the winners of that to go into the UEFA qualifiers.
