Hehe :) dude, when you say that you've been 5th favorite for the past 5 years then it's the same as you were saying : "I have no clue how to play this game at all" :P :P :P

Because even a little kid can build a team that would have 1st media prediction in the league if he spend 5 seasons in that league

Please don't embarrass yourself saying that you can't build the strongest team in the league after spending 5 season there :) :) It's just hilarious :)

With Lazio, second season , very good squad I can't win against Juventus. Six losses in six games , always i have possesion, shoots, shoots on goal, ccc's and I loss 3-1 or 4-1 . And Napoli ! They have 4 shoots on goal in 4 games and it was 4 results of 1-1. Because of this sort of bullshit I hate the game in this year.

funny how just because I've managed the same team for more than 5 years doesn't mean i should be building the strongest team at all. you can only do that if players want to come to the team, and thats based on reputation, the team doesn't have the reputation to attract the best players, therefore i don't have the best team. don't come to mean telling me i should be embarrassed when in game situations have effects on what happens

juventus are always a tough team to beat, think it was fm13 it took me something like 15 games to actually get a draw
 
I understand this and I was not mad if they were better in this games, but like the stats says , they were far weaker than me.

Dude... for God's sake, you are saying that you've been for 5 seasons 5th favorite... :) I just don't understand how it's even possible?

You should be rolling in money only after 3 seasons if you started with 5th media prediction and even if you started with a small club, I usually by that time have about 300M transfer budged and all the best players in the game... LOL I just don't know how to spend all that money :)

because the new owners after the second season don't provide the money, i have to sell players to buy players. just because that happens in your game doesn't mean it happens in every game

twely2712, even that you didn't get once a transfer budget in your second season but you still had 4 seasons :) to improve your team and as you said that at the first season you already had 5th media prediction so I just can't image how you should play that after 4 seasons( if you started with 5th media prediction) you weren't able to get 1st media prediction or least 2nd media prediction :) It's beyond my understanding :)

P.S. You said that you didn't get a transfer budget and you had to sell players to buy players... I just don't get it why did you bother with transfers at all if you didn't have a transfer budget? What’s the point?

I'm explaining to the dude that his inability to improve his team after 5 seasons is what he should look at if he want to improve his results ;)
 
One thing I've done to make the game a little more challenging is only allow my director of football to make offers for players. I still evaluate the players that are offered but I never look for players myself. It's just something I'm trying this year, as the last 3 years of FM I get bored too easily after a year or two at a big club. And I only ever play one save. I started in the VNLS and 13 years into the game I'm just now at Lazio (for the last 2 seasons) scraping out European qualification from Italy and trying to build up a decent transfer budget.

It's been a lot of fun actually. But it under-utilizes TFF's tactics because the DoF is not really very good at pulling in Inside Forwards. Also, I don't think the game is very good at distinguishing between the quality of a player with the different duty settings for Fullbacks, i.e. the DoF will sign someone who is rated very highly as a fullback, but not necessarily a good attacking fullback.

So my team doesn't improve as quickly as someone who is manually handling every incoming player, and that's exactly the point for me. I gradually improve the team by building up money and training young players the way I want them, while every once in a while seeing a really good offer from my DoF that I let him purchase.

Yeah... I'm glad I have a punch bag when playing this game. Though on the plus side. just played away against manutd I didn't have a single shot (using this tactic) and manu had 32-18 and it ended 0-0. Painful game to watch though as I was expecting a thrashing at any point. Game after that lost 6-0 to Chelsea lol.
 
What in peoples opinions is the best version? I've only tried 3 and 6 :D

Nah, you're just being a douche. Besides, you only get that kind of transfer budget if you actually win the league and heavily improve your economical status and/or increase your club reputation.
I'm currently playing 2 multiplayer seasons with friends, and in one I've spent 4 seasons with Wolfsburg placing 2nd-4th all seasons (my friends are Bayern and Dortmund) and my transfer budgets have been somewhere along the lines of £18M - £35M - £45M - £55M - £60M with my club value having roughly doubled since the start.
On our other save with AC Milan I managed to win Serie A 2 years in a row, the first season my transfer budget skyrocketed from £18M to £55, and the third transfer window I got £135M (board takeover previous summer tho) with my club value more than tripled since the start.

Oh and by the way, Juventus are a hard nut to crack. I've won 2 in 7 games with them, drawing 4 and losing 1. Every single game I've played their pants off but their defense just won't bend over most of the time. :P
 
This is a good tactic but others from TTF were too!

I believe they all since devastator and even early are all about the same in game play.
TTF change a player instruction here...put a player instruction there...change a player role here...change a player role there but they are all about the same for me.

I think it´s time for TTF think about team instructions because maybe the gold i there |)

For now date 442 is the best
