When I try to load Football Manager 2010, It says I cant connect to Steam This is what it reads: Cant connect to steam network . It appears you are not connected to the internet, or that your internet connection is not configured correctly for steam. Any ideas on how to fix this

Not sure, but uninstalling and reinstalling is worth a try.

no you wont as your game is automatically saved in my documents :D

Not if you take them out of your games folder and put them on a memory stick or put them in a different folder other than anything to do with your Sports Interactive folder :)

You aren't connected to the internet? Oh, excuse my retardedness I have just realised you must be connected to the internet as you are on Fm-Base (6) Dunno mate sorry then.

You don't need to be online to go onto steam or FM.Start it in offline mode.

Offline mode isn't working for him I don't think.

Just a wee thread revival. I'm away for most weekends from now until October and when I tried to go onto FM it said what Clarky 56 said. I then chose to use offline mode and it said some error that I can't remember. Then I was back to square 1. Anybody got any advice because my weekends are going to be really boring if this isn't sorted :/

Never mind. Sorted it out. Disabled my Hamachi Connection and put the disk in and it worked a treat.

Mines not connecting now, I don't have the disk with me either. Lets just hope the old re-installing Steam trick will work.
