Unable to install FM2010 From disk

Hi guys,

I recently had problems setting up a new game in FM2010 so decided, as advised, to uninstall the game and re-install. No I have a BIG problem!

I insert the disk and the installation process starts. Installing as normal when a window pops up saying "Please insert fm2009 or select 'browse...' to locate manually"

I have no idea why this has popped up when installing FM2010!

I have run a search for fm2009 files and searched the registry but cant find anything.

Any idea how to fix this pleeeeease and/or why this window is popping up?

Go to my computer then double click on fm10 disk

Still the same window pops up when trying to install

use steam

Rather play from disk.
Does anyone know how to resolve this please?
Or/And why the window appears?

You can use disk and run via steam.

I play offline a lot (e.g. sundays at work)
I payed to buy the game and am a bit annoyed this has happened as I should be entitled to install offline mode if needed.
