Uncharted 2: Among Thieves / Army of Two II

Sorry to bump this thread but just got the game today and i cant start a new game it keeps freezing, It was freezing when I first put on the game but I found out the problem to that but now when I get onto Title Screen and select new game when it goes to load it up the dagger just keeps spinning in the bottom right hand corner and the music loops every 3 seconds, Any help please?
