Hi, I'm relatively new to FM (not played since LMA 2006 lol) and I'm just getting so frustrated. None of my tactics seem to work (odd occasion one worked with Fiorentina) and I'm losing to teams I should be beating with ease. I've been aiming to create a Dortmund or Chelsea style tactic where I can build from a solid base and work upwards.
That's generally the 433 I've tried out. I tend to go with Retain Possession, Play out of defence, Drill crosses, Hassle, High defensive line, Play narrower, Lower tempo and Be more disciplined. I know Dortmund play at a high tempo but every time I use that shout I seem to gift the opposition the ball too easy.
Note - This isn't for Dortmund or Chelsea it's just a tactic I'd like to use to use for any save really. I know alot depends on the players you sign but I'd just like someone to point out any errors or such which could give me an idea of what route to go down.
It'd also be useful to know what midfield combinations work best together. So ye hope someone replies
