Managing AC Milan, and as the January transfer window rolled around, I had a surplus of 40k in my wage budget. I then sold a player who was on 40k to make extra room for new signings, but when I checked the budget after he had left, I saw that the club wage budget was in a deficit of 140k. I asked immediately that the board increase it, and they did, by 100k, but it soon returned to the 140k deficit again. I received no explanation for any of this and the club actually increased my transfer revenue retained % due to "good wage budget management". Can anyone explain this?
