Unofficial Updates

Currently getting bored waiting for SI's next update. Was wondering, what would be the difference between an official update and an unofficial one? What are the cons of an unoffical one?

The cons are that the update is done by a person, so their view might be different to that of the official reserachers and they might have improved a few players, or missed some transfers \ manager changes due to doing it in their bedroom. Another problem with an unofficial update, is that it might already be out of date, due to the Russian transfer window still be open. However, I've always used unoffical updates (mostly LFC_Marshall's which he has done for years) and I've never been disappointed.
