i've just started my 2nd season with spurs and i have only been given a tiny budget of 550k for a team normally one of the highest spenders in the league i think this is totally unrealistic is this because i've done something wrong or is it the same for everyone?

you've prob just not brought in enough money for you to get a decent budget. The club wont let you spend too much so that you go into debt. look at your wage budget, is it high? are you over spending on it?

no i've never been near going over it i've only signed 2 players riquelme and dzeko and sold some high earners like bentley pav and jenas

oh well look at it as a chance to prove yourself then I guess

This is in FM 09, but first season budget was 5 mill. Second was 500,000. Third 100,000. 4th: 19,000,000

That was for Vålerenga; all depends on Champions League!

did you try asking the board for extra transfer fund? if you are well over the season objective, board might give you money.

I have just had the same sort of thing. Finished 4th in my first season with Spurs and the following season they gave me £5m budget - i was expecting at least £20m. Not sure if it goes up if you get passed the champions league qualifying round though.

ive just finished 4th and got 400k!! i only signed camacho and jovetic for about £25mil altogether and sold jenas and bentley, i was planning on aguero but it looks like im going to end up with brett ormerod

If you buy too many players with instalments this is what happens.
