Updating

I have recently been updating a few things in the data editor, (managerial changes, loans etc.). The problem is that now my game takes ages to load and when I look at the database I have updated it is showing more than 1 million changes. It is also 754mb in size. I've probably changed in the region of 20-30 items in the database, so what am I doing wrong that the file is now so big?

Re-do the changes, it should fix the problems.
