New stuff in fm18 compared to fm17 :
- 4 new roles (Inverted Winger, Mezzalla, Carillero, Segundo Volante)
- new position available for Trequartista (AM right / left)
- new PI for central midfielderf, central advanced midfielders and strikers (except Enganche and Poacher) : "Run Wide With Ball". This instruction can be only be used for center-right and center-left midfielder or striker.
- new duties for Inverted Wing Back (FM 17 : Support only, FM 18 : Defend, Support, Attack, Auto). IWB with defend duty has contradictory instructions and this duty may be redefined in the future, especially in terms of movement.
- Central Defender role (all duties) can be now slightly more creative (FM 17 : "Fewer Risky Passes" by default, FM18 : Fewer or More Risky Passes can pe chosen)
- Defensive Midifelder (Support duty) (FM 17 : "Tackle Harder" by default, Fm 18 : Tackle Harder or Ease Off Tackles can be chosen)
- Enganche (FM : "Dribble More" by default, Fm 18 : Dribble more can be chosen or not)
