Using AM

i have been playing FM for years but i have a slight problem with this version. so i have a very good player at AM position that i want to build a team around, i want him to be the main target for passes, etc. how do i do this?

I would think you can set him as an advanced playmaker, so long as you don't have a DLP or AP behind him, your players should try to focus attacks through him. I'm pretty sure trequarista will also work. Also, I think an engache will also work.

You might not want to play with a target man or, to a lesser extent complete forward, in front of him since they will be targeted.

i have a box to box and a bwm and i watch the game and look at stats and my AM doesnt seem to get the ball very often, maybe it will start to happen as season continues i guess, i dont know.

Is he in space to get the ball? Playmaker roles will ensure that your team will look to get the ball to him more, but does that suit him and your tactic?
