Come on ! Don't give up :)
I'm sure you can finish this better !
Keep it up !

Sorry for the lack of updates I have been doing work and haven't had anytime to get online.....

Don't mention it man.

Your 'real' has to come first and I'm sure I aren't alone in saying I appreciate the time taken to play/ update whenever you can.

Good luck with your continuing endeavours with Los Che.

Make Manolo proud. ;).

I remember from my Valencia save that Rodrigo de Paul was a beast as an IF and Juve offered me 40M for him after my 1st season. Good luck though!

December:

December was probably our best month so far this season which really shows a lot about our season. It had a cracking goal fest of a cup fixture, a shocking and unacceptable league defeat and a mid season friendly against one of our affiliates, so let's jump in.
View attachment 272629
We started off the month with a first leg of a cup tie against Elche, who we previously have drawn 2-2 with, We had taken the lead within 12 minutes thanks to an Own goal by Jonathas (who last time out scored twice against us) However 4 minutes later we were 2-1 down as Elche scored two quick-fire goals, However 8 minutes later Otamendi leveled the scores at 2-2. Just before the break Paco Alcacer scored his goal to make it 3-2 and that's how it finished. We then went away to Granada where we grabbed the 3 points again in a 3-2 victory but this one was a little less deserving. They went ahead on 12 minutes and that's how it stayed until the 62nd minute where they doubled their lead at 2-0. I screamed from the touch-line and It seems Rodrigo heard me as he made a blistering run from kick off and within 31 seconds it was back at 2-1. 10 minutes later Negredo rose above his marker and steered his header into the top corner for 2-2. After that Granada dominated the game and it looked like they had won it but Otamendi headed off the line and Inigo Martinez played a 50 yrd pass over the top, Paco Alcacer was the man who latched onto the ball and hit it home for the 3-2 Victory. We then hosted the Game against High flying Rayo Vallecano who taught us a lesson and walked away with 3 points after a 3-0 victory. Less said the better. We then had the away end of our Spanish cup tie where Jonathas scored a Hat-trick but it was not enough for his side as we drew 4-4 and won the tie 7-6 on aggregate. Goals from Negredo, Bellerin, Rodrigo and Alcacer. We then played our final league game of the year and what a cracker it was. A 9 goal thriller where we left with all 3 points after a 6-3 victory. Goals by Andre Gomes, Rodrigo and Paco Alcacer who came up with 4 unique and stunning goals. We then played a friendly against Alcoyano where we won 2-1. Goals by Salvador and Alcacer.

GAME OF THE MONTH: EIBAR 3-6 VALENCIA

It was a tough choice as we had a 8 goal and a 9 goal thriller but in this game the Crowd watched a Paco Alcacer master class.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH: PACO ALCACER
View attachment 272627
Only one winner, got 9 goals in 6 games, only missed out on scoring in one game and rescued us some key points.

TEAMS TO WATCH: RAYO VALLECANO + ALMERIA

We have reached mid-season so I though I would look at teams to watch, I picked out these two both sitting 5th and 6th Respectively, both have pulled out some cracking results and some cracking players.

I am extremely dissapointed to say but I have spent the past week trying to fox my laptop which has broke unfortunatley it hasn't worked so I bought a new one meaning I have lost the save and will no longer be able to contiune this story, hopefully I can start a new one just as succsessful but once again sorry.

After almost 2 weeks, me and brother have finally managed to recover as many files from my old laptop as we could and thankfully we managed to get back my Valencia save, so expect this shortly to be up and running again shortly.

January:

2015, I was now 6 months into my 5 year plan and It was not going at all as I hoped. Now I was 6 months into the job I knew I needed to pick up my game as I could lose my job at any time if we carry on this way. I was hoping for a good start to the year, however the first half of January was appalling. However the second part of the month was unbelievable and we got a result which I believe can turn our whole season on its head.

We started off with a game against run away leaders Real Madrid, losing 6-2. The only positive was our main man Paco Alcacer scored twice. However as I left the stadium I began to hear some boos. We then invited Atletico Madrid to our stadium where we were 2-1 up and I began to fill with some confidence. This was totally shattered when Madrid scored twice in the last 5 minutes to give them a 3-2 win in the first leg. The boos grew bigger and louder. Just 4 days after our cup defeat we travelled to Celta Vigo for what should have been an easy win game but once again we were outclassed and the Chant “DICKSON OUT” rang around the stadium. The latest result was all over the news and people believed I would be sacked. I decided enough was enough; I ranted at the boys and tweaked the formation. In my eyes it looked to have worked wonders. We went out to Madrid for the away leg of our cup tie and won 2-1 thanks to goals from Alcacer and De Paul. The tie ended 5-5 but sadly Atletico won on away goals. However the result would have a much larger importance. We then visited Almeria looking to build on our confidence and we came away with a convincing 3-0 win with goals by De Paul, Gomes and Alcacer. Next on our list was Sevilla in what was a big game. I wasn’t sure if the boys would deliver but main man Alcacer scored two in 8 minutes and that helped us to stick it out for 2-1 win. Our final game of the month was against Malaga which yet again ended 2-1 this time goals by Perez and Piatti

GAME OF THE MONTH: Almeria 0-3 Valencia
This was our first encouraging win in a while and looked to spark new enthusiasm and confidence into the team.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Pablo Sarabia
Although he isn’t always at his best, I don’t believe he gets the recognition he deserves with 3 assists in 4 games with an average rating of 8.17 he has finally taken the crown from Paco Alcacer.

February:

We came off last month with our best run of form in the whole season and by far we manage to keep the momentum, an unbeaten month leaves us 8 games without a loss, a seasons best and we managed 10 points from 12 which I will take as very successful.

Espanyol 2-2 Valencia
View attachment 255818
A disappointing game in which we were absolutely dominant in but we had to leave it late just to even rescue a point from. Paco and Perez to the rescue.

Valencia 4-2 Getafe
View attachment 255817
An emphatic win that saw Enzo Perez grabbed his 2nd goal in as many games in what seems to be a purple patch for him and another 2 goals for Paco.

Cordoba 0-1 Valencia

View attachment 255816
A somewhat lucky game in which both teams had players sent off and Prince Paco was the deciding factor.

Valencia 2-0 Real Sociedad
View attachment 255815
A big win against a team narrowly above us. That man Alcacer with another goal taking his tally up to 25. Andre gomes was also on the score sheet.

Absolutely gutting, though we have grabbed a draw but Bale slashed our hopes late on. :(

Was hoping for a final day win but we had already cemented our position by now so no complaints.

Pre-season:

Year 2 is now underway and what a summer it has been, many big players have left for bigger and better clubs and we have moved them on for vast amounts of money while bringing in small but powerful amounts of talent to strengthen the squad for our upcoming season.

View attachment 253223
The biggest departures were our solid Center back Nicholas Otamendi, I was sad to see him go but when Man.city triggered his 37 Million release clause, he was gone. Another big money mover was Rodrigo, when Atletico came in with a 30 million offer I couldn't refuse, he will be missed but I'm glad we got some much from him.

Lucas was our main signing this summer, with the departure of Rodrigo we needed some class in the 3 behind Alcacer and he is the man to strengthen that line. He could be vital this year. We also brought in Balanta and Juan Jesus to strengthen our numbers in defence and hopefully stop us from leaking as many goals.

This is our starting line-up for the new season:
View attachment 253222
In pre-season we managed to win all 6 of our games, totting up 23 and only conceding 1 showing generally that our defense is strengthening.

out of interest what was your starting transfer budget for season 2. I am real sociedad but despite having huge achievements the money is not good

Very little around 3 Million but a lot of outs meant a lot of ins.
