Valletta FC of the Maltese Premier League have appointed manager Jordan Cook to be their manager for the forthcoming campaign.
I hope to bring sucess domestically to the club and eventually bring European glory to the club and make the team a dominant force in the world of football.
The club start playing in the UEFA Champions League this season which will be a boost.

All future posts will be season reviews and I will post everything that has happened throughout the whole season on if we have won any competitions and our run in the champions league. I will also post what has happened also within the world of football

Looks awesome dude how did you get that league? I recently got fired in my supposed last save on FM so im now going into a smaller league for my final save. Nothing to lose Good luck with this.

I found it on the Downloads page on FM-Base! Its a good league in my opinion and can go very far! And thanks man!

Yeah it is a lot of fun! Anyway the season review should all be done and dusted and posted on here within the next 3 days!

Edit: I want to keep everyone on here entertained, so I will do update throughout the season and do a season review at the end so you understand what has been going on more!

Pre Season Update

It has been a good Pre Season for the club I think although bringing in no signings and letting one player out on loan we have had some good games!

UEFA Champions League Qualifiers.

1st Qualifying Round

1st Leg: B36 0-1 Valletta
2nd Leg: Valletta 3-1 B36
agg: Valletta 4-1 B36

The first qualifying round saw us beat Faroe Islands opposition B36 in a 4-1 win over aggregate

2nd Qualifying Round

We got drew against Swiss opponents FC Basel, which was going to be a tough tie

In the first leg which was at home we pitched ourselves a nice 1-1 draw with the opponents although they got the away goal it gave the team and nice confident boost!

We then traveled to Switzerland to come over a terrible 5-1 loss and losing 6-2 on aggregate and not matching our targets to get to the 3rd Qualifier Round although, next year is our year (HOPE)




MALTESE SUPER CUP

We went into the Super Cup tie against last seasons Cup winners Hibernians. So did I get my first piece of silverware for the team? Lets find out!

Yes! We came out on an emphatic 5-3 Victory! With goals coming from Abubakar, Frank Temile x2, Ian Azzopardi and Michael Mifsud

January Update!

Welcome back, half of the first season here in Malta in the city of Valletta has gone more than great so I'm here to update you on what has gone on!

It has been an absolute great start to the season! We are undefeated! I think the team and the tactic I am using is to strong for the league and showing that we are a dominant force!
And we are on track easily to win the league this season and qualify for Europe!

In the Maltese Cup, we have only played once match so far which was in the 2nd round and we won 3-0 at home so we are still in the cup.

Looking at the player stats our star Nigerian striker Frank Temile is top goal scorer of the league so far scoring 14 goals! He also has highest shots on target ratio and the highest average rating and at only 22 years of age he is going to be a star for the club!

So here is the league table! Although we are top without losing a game, domestic rivals Hibernians are only 4 points behind!


So the future looks bright here at Valletta and I do hope in the future we can become a great force in Europe and we have had a good start and I will see you next time for a season review!
