Bruno de Carvalho = Mobster

Anyway, he has to win it first. Would like to see such a recognized name in our league, though

one of the best players ever. didnt even know he managed.

Bruno de Carvalho = Vale e Azevedo

Van Basten was a brilliant player, as a manager, unproven.

And most likely Godinho Lopes will win it . ;)

Goal.com strikes again..

Joe, he managed Ajax and the National Team lol.. You really didn't know he managed?

Correction: Mobster with powerful Russian connections. He's not some lowlife drug dealer like Vieira from Benfica or a fecking pusher like Pinto da Costa.
I have a feeling that he will win. All the surveys point to him winning.

Failed miserably at Ajax if I remember correctly.
He only failed because the board sold Hunterlaar and didn't give him a decent striker back. Because in January, he was 1st with a 3 point lead.

Drug dealer? Jesus Christ.

This is actually true, Van Basten is in Lisbon, and i saw him last night at the stadium.

He didn't do too well with previous clubs, I would like to see him manage at World Class level

He also failed with Holland. He did well in the groups but meekly succumbed to Russia in the second round. He will fail at Sporting, who have an even less capable team than either Ajax or Holland did back then.

Well I think Holland National team is world class. And Ajax, his only club, is not bad, but Sporting, not even near world class.

Well, Holland is a world-class level, a world-class squad, and he failed.

Would like to see him do well, but a good player doesn't make a good manager.

*Let's not start a Sporting v Benfica war here. Either comment and keep it on topic or don't bother*

It's not like there's much competition in the portuguese league, though.

TBH no club in Portugal(Benfica, Sporting, Porto) are near world-class. Three top sides, but are miles behind Man U, Barca, Inter, Bayern and co.

It's all about the money.

Both Benfica and Porto may be miles away from those teams, but Sporting are miles away from Benfica and Porto.

I mean I want him to succeed at a high level.
