Anyone got a replica of van gaals 532 United/Holland formation???

I have watched ManU's preseason games (and have a fascination with VG) and after adding players to fit and then some tinkering through my pre-season my heat map and general style of play is pretty spot on to what I see from ManU.

I am 3 games into the start of my season and 3-0 with 2 clean sheets. (this is my 7th season at Oxford United by the way)

Control / Very Rigid / Stick to positions / Stay more disciplined

GK -D (take quick throws, take short kicks)

WB-S
CB (pass shorter)
BPD
CB (pass shorter)
WB-S

DLP-S
DLP-D
AP-A (roam)

DF-S
AF-A

My heat map at the end of matches shows up as a 3-4-3 formation mainly.
I chose DF-S to do the running and dropping off like Rooney does.
(I believe the DF-S is an overwhelmingly underused role. I get some great performances from it)
The AF-A pushes the line back and creates space for the AP-A who blasts into the space when needed or tries the killer ball.
DLP-D protects the line but also moves the ball ALOT. (first 3 games over 100 passes) He is my ball rotation player.
DLP-S helps protect as well but ALSO moves up "just enough" to stay out of the way of congestion.
He is my creative link and long shots is a good trait as well.

I find my ball retention and ball rotation is almost spot on to the matches I have seen.

Very happy with this for MY team so far.

WB-S must have stamina or they will not be as good for this.

I play a left footed CB on the left to pass it off to the WB or the DLP in front of him.
I play my smartest/leadership/strength/passing CB in the middle...the general.
I play a right footed CB on the right to pass to the WB or the DLP in front of him

It's more of a 3-4-3 than 3-5-2, but I'll make something out of it soon.

I would of thought rigid or balanced Would be more appropriate? The defence and midfield are rigid bit the front three interchange

to be honest. if you want to recreate van gaal's system, then formation is not the key. He would never play very rigid but always very fluid. He wants his team to act as 1. so defenders need to attack, and attackers need to defend. that is very fluid. Very rigid means that players will stick to there roles. just my opinion :)
