Louis Van Gaal has confirmed that he will leave German Champions Bayern Munich at the end of the season after 2 years in charge at the Munich club.

Thoughts on what he'll do next, and what's next for Bayern?

Shame, always liked him. Results this season though in the Bundesliga of course haven't been good enough.

Bayern will get a good replacement and resume relative dominance in the Bundesliga.

Bayern have been wank this season. They will need to sort themselves out to stop even more dominance from Dortmund

Whoever comes in needs to sort that defence out! Good luck to van Gaal thought, a true legend of football management. Very underated as a coach

Welcome to Anfield....?

Nhf, but I'd rather have Rafa Benitez back at anfield. With the funds, he might even do something good with the team.

Maybe Klinsmann is going to become Bayern's manager again?

I'd rather have Kenny, Still no signs of him being offered a deal yet mind,

We'd all prefer to keep Kenny Dalglish as the manager.

WAit, he's still not been offered a new deal??
Who'd come in his placE?

I doubt that. John Henry seems to be one of those rare owners with their heads screwed on. He can see how much Liverpool love Kenny and he is their number one choice, I really can't see him not offering a contract. He's a great manager and a Liverpool legend, I doubt many other people could have transformed Liverpool like he's done

Well, Back in January it was all about Frank Rijaard he also left galatasary and I thought he would of been given the job back then, But we turned to Kenny.

With no new deal tabled as of yet, maybe we are turning to someone else?

But i'd love Kenny to stay.

Kenny to stay, maybe Benitez leading liverpool like in 2005 or 2007?

OT:
Magath or Hitzfeld maybe return to Bayern's bench?

Hitzfeld would be nice, but he's got a contract with Switzerland and I doubt that he'd come to Bayern anymore.

and btw: Van Gaal at Ajax in the 90s

Don't be so sure about that. Dortmund is the way to go.

Dortmund FTW

I would not be too sure about that given past history. The only three sides to win the Bundasliga aside from Bayern, Wolfsberg,Stuttgart and Werder Bremen, are not exactly high flying this season.

The weight of expectation can be horrible on a club. Look at McLaren with Wolfsberg. I wouldn't be too quick in expecting Dortmund to be a force.

Ohh and lets not forget Bayern's big bank account :)

On Topic:

I think the only reason he is still in a job is their fine European form this season. They must feel it would be best to stick with him in the hope they can win it this year.
