Why, hello there!
Right. I'm don't know a whole lot about football. I follow it casually, and I've given FM2010 a go. I've got a few seasons of other CM/FM games under my belt, but they were years ago.
So I have a few questions.
I'm managing Millwall.
1) If I am able to advance to Premier League, should I always do so? I remember a game I had in the past, where I immediately advanced, yet I got bollocked, and mid-season I got fired. Good for the club, but very bad for myself. Any thoughts?
2) How many players should I seek to have in my main team? I've got 11, + 7 subs, + 6 others. Is that a healthy amount? I kinda have to do rotations on positions, and is that really a good thing? I feel bad for the 2 GK's who never get to play... heh..
Let's say I have 1 good midfielder, and two decent, but not quite ones. Should I allow them to rotate the position at the cost of the good midfielder?
3) What is an "unacceptable" condition at like 70minutes? If a guy's at 60%, is that a good reason to replace him, regardless of his performance, and regardless of the quality gap for the replacement player?
