Verdict of my Middle Eastern Consortium Takeover

Well if you remember from my last post i had just taken over at Sheff Utd from Swindon and after 2 weeks in the job a Middle Eastern Consortium got together to buy the club. The new owners were to review my position at the club once the take over was complete.

I was fearing the worst as it was off season and i had no results to offer as a bribe to keeping me in the position.

Well here we are now into the new season, consortium have completed thier thier takeover, decided to keep me at the helm and have given me One Hundred (Yes 100!!) Million pounds to spend!!

i couldn't beleive it, they pumped £250,000,000 into the club and gave me £100,000,000 to spend on strengthening the squad.

So off i went spending!! I brought in first of all as many best quality coaches and scouts i could get my hands on to help me deal with the influx in new talent.

In total i made 15 new signings including:

Maicon (Brazilian Striker)
Federico Macheda from Man Yoo
Michael McIndoe
Andy Reid
Leo (Brazilian Defender)
Andres D'Allesandro
Julien Faubert
Benoit Costil
Mark Beevers
Sandro (Brazilian holding midfielder)
Juan (Brazilian Left Back)
Ricardo Costa

and a few more future prospects.

The season has started in frustrating fashion with 2 wins 8 draws and 1 defeat from the opening 11 games.

The team will obviously need time to gel but there are very positive signs of progression.

Apologies for the previous font size / colour etc. I will keep it small and simple from now on.

This is only the 3rd season.

I have no clue how to do a screenshot, coupled with the lack of internet at my house (yes i am using the internet at work!) means i cannot even e-mail a screenshot if i managed to work out how to do it.

I'll keep this save until i get the internet at home and then i'll post it up on here for you all to see.

Pretty much exactly the same thing happened to me with liverpool, but to be honest it took the spark out of my game, happened to me in first season aswell.
