I'm currently managing Everton, in my 9th year. I have never thought of leaving Everton yet, but then this happened.

Mourinho left his job at R. Madrid for Man City.

Currently on 77k p/w, though I could easily negotiate more than the 76k being offered.

Transfer budget of 435m, I could buy 2 Messi with that. And a wage budget of 5m p/w, enough to pay for 20 Messi. But the thing is, now most of the key players in Madrid (Ronaldo, Ozil, Casillas) are old.

The question is, should I take it?

Could buy all the wonderkids who are now in their mid 20s haha. Might actually be a good challenge to see if you can keep up their success when having to replace a majority of the team over a 2-3 year span.

Save just before and then split the save into one where you take it and one you don't so you can have your Everton save and one with lots of money to play with.

I would take it in a heartbeat, youve been at Everton for a long time now so I assume you've achieved alot so a change of scene would be good plus you get all the money in the world :D can only imagen what man city are giving Mourinho to spend lol

go for it mate. u have done great to everton, and u can do more better at madrid ;).but yeah, erry of caution, make a split save. save before u do anything into a new file, and let one be that u move to mardid to achieve more and more success, the other being u very, very loyal to everton and stay put, like a boss ;)

I probably would stay. But only because Madrid is far from being one of my favorite teams in the world, far from that. :)

How many season have you done at everton

edit just notice you done 9 season at everton well in that case id stay on for one more season then ur get

Part Of The Furniture
You have stayed at one club for 10 seasons

When you get this you can decide if you feel you need to move on

How well have you done with Everton?

3 PL title, 2 CL titles, numerous FA and League Cup titles. The thing is I'm trying to achieve consecutive titles and the treble, which I haven't been able to do so far.

They haven't really been successful in the league as long as I play Everton, always ending up in 2nd or 3rd in the league haha. Barca dominated the first few years I was in charge, then some rich oil sheikh took over Athletico Madrid, now they've won their 3rd consecutive league title.

One can only imagine how deep the pockets of the Man City owners are.

I think I'm going to do a split file save like some of you guys say. And then buy all the wonderkids. Gotze's been a beast at Dortmund :D

Have any of you guys won the treble? My ultimate aim is to do a Barca and win all the possible winnable trophies in one season (PL, CL, FA Cup, League Cup, CWC, Euro Super Cup, Community Shield)

I'd either split the save into 2, or otherwise stay at Everton. That way you can carry on trying to achieve your goal of the treble, and after that move on :)
