Video Uploading only works when you are watching it?

i alt+tabbed out and went back after a while and realised that the video uploading would only progress if you are watching it.

if you switch to other programs for a short while, the progress would just halt.

is it only me?
or does SI want us to watch the static screen of a video being uploaded?

if you do this, you must wait day or two, then will be a complete upload.

Nope. Not a problem for me, slow and sometimes makes FM crash with Rocketdock and minimising the window, but it uploads fine.
