Didnt think Newcastle would be in the market for over 30's - not that I''m saying Viduka is a bad player, just thought they'd be looking for younger players who will bring future success as well as short term.

Doubt it's gonna signal the departure of owen.
big sam has said that viduka will give ameobi competition. he also said that he wants two players for each position and that owen and martins are the two players that can play off a big man, while ameobi and viduka are the two that can play as a big target man. we're also on the verge of signing david rozehnal and tal ben-haim
