Well tbh I'd taken my computer to work and out it on their network and it was still the same so I don't know why I asked that question. Clutching at straws I suppose now.

Just been ****** over by this, what a load of bollocks.

I downloaded over 6GB between 10am - 3pm so instead of getting my 2.2mb/s i'm limited to 550kb/s now for the next 5 hours. ;-(

It's **** ain't it. At uni last year we had a 2mb connection and between 4 of us we easily went over the threshold so the internet really slowed down in the peak hours set by Virgin. I knew this and tried explaining to the lasses that streaming uses alot of bandwidth but being lasses they didn't understand how streaming uses up bandwidth
