Played a few games with this and it looks promising, any type of player needed for each position?

1st season with werder i used vujevic targetman and finished 3. place (with a very average squad)

2nd season i switched to this tactic mainly using the positive with a few very minor tweaks and the attacking in some rare matches.
Finished 1st in bundesliga and somehow won the champions league beating both city and real. (Notice who scored the goals in the last 4 matches :D )

Moerstedt had 46 goals in 42 games with a rating of 7.73 :o

Re players, i've attached some player search filters to this post that you can use to search for the player types (just import them on the player search screen) - Hope this helps?

So does the DMC filter cover both positions because they behave a bit different with the anchor staying back more? might be worth starting your own thread for this tactic?

Similar, anchor is more like a ball player defender to be honest, has to be tall, strong etc. DM on support has to be a good all round player and because they get further forward they need off the ball, long shots etc.

Using the same tactics in a save with Latina down in Serie C and absolutely destroyed the league.
These 2 tactics are incredible and helped my strikers get 38 goals each

1/8 of CL Man City was to strong, still won league, super cup, cup.

League - Won it comfortably, nearly finished a 2nd season in a row undefeated, but lost the last geame of the season. Won 30 out of 32 games.

Cup - Won it comfortably for the 2nd season in a row.

Champions League: WON it - Had the hardest draw also. Napoli in the Knock Out Playoff round, Liverpool in the R16, Real Madrid in the Quarters, Barca in the Semis and then Man City in the Final.

NB: My 3 strikers (Beljo, Weiper and Kaufmann scored 106 goals between them over the course of the season). My two AM's (Bundhaard and Almada) scored 46 between them.

is this the same tactic you linked on the other page? do you use attacking away from home in champions league?
 
I struggle against Marco Rose that use this variation of 4222 and in my saves Leipzig often goes really far in champions league so I always thought this formation have to be strong against AI oppontents. I wil test that one with pleasure
