where dose this go?

• Locate your data folder. The default locations are as follows:
  
  • Steam: Program files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2024/data
  • Epic Games: Program files/Epic Games/FootballManager24/data
  • Mac: your username/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 24/data
  • Gamepass: wherever-you-install-your-gamepass-games/Football Manager 2024/content/data
• Drag the simatch.fmf file somewhere safe to back it up. You will need this in order to revert to the original match engine in the future. Alternatively you can delete the simatch.fmf file from the data folder and then verify integrity via steam/epic/whatever in order to redownload the original files.
• Drag the new simatch.fmf file in to the data folder and rename it simatch.fmf. For example change it from FM TWEAK simatch.fmf to just simatch.fmf.

Patch notes - Physics file:

• Walking parameters, header parameters and keeper parameters adjusted to match the balance and formula of the file.
• Acceleration and deceleration parameters readjusted and adapted to the new formula used for the wider file.
• No more speed bugs, off the ball bugs, animations of players lifting from the ground after a tackle, among others; plus no more glitchy animations.

Patch notes - Player Ratings file:

• Ratings for defensive roles have been adjusted: defensive plays are rewarded more, offensive mistakes are punished less-
• For offensive roles, the opposite is true: offensive plays are rewarded more, defensive mistakes are punished less.
• All roles have been balanced: now every role can compete for best player of the competition, best players in each role will stand out equally.

Where can I check that I'm using a new engine? Sorry if this was a stupid question, but I'm a complete novice at these things and I'm just starting my FM adventure.

for now for this tweaked engine i have 1 tactic

5 at back still not done

on test 18 i changed to mid block so holiday working better

will keep testing

now tryed 2 pressing forwards up top

also all 3 defenders on cover

rice missed penalty

playing fast every game

test completed I failed with 3 at back

4 at back working good played last 10 games and working fine

rpm version is for stronger team or whn you need to score

I got 85 points with Parma so I have good template!
