Wage issue with Stoke

I'm in my 3rd season at Stoke and have done well so have a decent sized transfer budget. I'm currently spending £1.3m on wages and my board allows for £1.5m. But when I try to sign a new player even as key player the max wage I can give them is £170 a week?!

I have two Bosmans coming in at the end of the year in Strootman and Teixera for big wages, is this the reason why? It's very frustrating, I can't adjust my wage budget anymore and am well within the proper finances. Is it a bug?

Chances are it is those two free transfers, how much are they going to be earning? If it is enough to take you over budget then that is defo why.

Ya those guys are maxed out key players at around £100k a week. I've never had that happen me before so I was curious. It's a bit frustrating, not sure I really need Teixera anymore tbh.

The board probably don't want to spend more on wages or they'll fail FFP.
