I am currently managing East Cowes Victoria Athletic who start off as an amature team in English Level 10. I managed to get promoted in my first season into Level 9 football and turned semi pro. Now when I sign players they want a semi pro contract instead of amature and a lot of the amature players already in the squad now want a wage. The board allows me to give them a wage when I offer a new contract and most players are only asking for £25. The problem is the board won't officially make any money available for wages and complains at the end of every month that the wages are spiriling out of control. I have asked them to make money available for wages but they refuse. I'm only spending about £600 a week on wages and I'm making a profit each month due to some good cup runs.

Anyone else having the same problem?
