wanting to manage a small country... but?

Ok, I was wanting to manage the Faroe islands on my new save file but when I was selecting who I wanted to manage I couldn't see the faroes on the list of countries I could select, so I looked for a few other small not so good countries I cud manage, like San Marino and Armenia. But they wouldn't appear on the list either!! Is ther anyway I can manage them? I probably sound like a noob but I just don't understand wat I need to do or y I can't manage them.

you have to add " include all players from" then you put the nation
