Was i right to sell C.Ronaldo?

I'm Chelsea and im in my fith season, i bought ronaldo the season before and he became unhappy due to lack of disapline and wanted to leave the club, he also wouldnt even talk to me. anyway i sold him to barcalona for 49m at the age of 28 and replaced him with ashley young? was i right to do this?
