Way too many bookings

Seriously, in nearly every single game the ref hands out at least 10 cards. And it cant be just because of my tactics because I can see in their statistics that they hand them out like candies on other matches too. One ref has for example given out 90 yellow cards and 3 red cards in 10 games. Its just ridiculous and SI should address this problem for the next patch.

... or maybe your team is just playing too aggressively?

I have said this before but, teams who are strong and aggressive are able to win the ball without the referee handing out a booking or two because of a foul. It very rarely happens in honesty.

You need to set your tackling to 'More Cautious' and have your most aggressive tackler in your starting eleven, every match, have more cautious tackling. Otherwise, he will get booked.

You can also use the touchline shouts to tell the team to stay on their feet when tackling. That tells them to be more cautious.
