Does anyone know if "weeding" out your youth team will produce better regens?
I'm RC Strasbourg in first season and in 3rd league with Average youth facilities and recruitment. I made the point of releasing all of my youth players (who were garbage) leaving the squad full of greyed out players.
My first class of regens brought in 2 players touted as future "good ligue 1" players and another who was borderline ligue 2/1. I've done this save 10+ times and I've never had a class like that before in first season (or 2nd or 3rd).
Is this just a coicidence or does the computer see that I'm in need of youth players and therefore generates them more on level with my facilities instead of spreading a couple good players over multiple classes?
