Weird ? Early Transfer window. So confused never seen this before.

Ok guys so I started a save in MLS at the start of the game as LAFC I holidayed until January 2018. played a full season there. Ends in December. I then went to newcastle FC. finished the season. now im the second season in 2019/20 season. all of a sudden the transfer deadline is August 15 2019. I have never seen this in all my years playing FM. its always the usual.

any one else seen this ? is it a glitch ?

No, the premier league voted to change the rules earlier this season. The window will now end before season kick off starting next year.

Oh I knew that but didn't know it was put into the game. that is pretty interesting.
