Weirdest results

Am playing as Everton in the first season not edited the game at all. Ive played Chelsea away and beat them 4-0 and played Man Utd at home and beat them 5-1 but ive lost 2-0 to Bolton and 2-1 to Blackburn. To me theses results don't make sense. anyone else had results like this ?

On my man u save, I beat city 7-0 but then lost 3-0 to bolton

Something I've noticed that pretty consistently happens in all FM games I've owned is that if you go on a run of crushing opponents like 5-0, 6-1, etc., invariably you will lose the next game.

I really really hate this.
