So here is my 1st ever story!,

lets get a couple of things clear first..i'm not one for the whole make up a pretend life and write a novel,

im going to be me..give season by season update's and just take it from their and hopefully get a following going :)

the plan is..take over a team in Iceland,and win the Champions League? Mission impossible? theirs only 1 way too find out......

For the sake of my finger's, Lets just call them IBV as their known on the game..

Start in the Europa league..but im not hoping for anything more than just going out lightly!

Media predicted 7th,But im aiming for higher things myself

So..in the next post will be about my 1st season,Player's...transfers (if any) and just general clearing up and getting ready for season 2,

If anyone decide's to follow..Let me no if you want any screenshots on anything :)

here's a couple..took over halfway through the season,totally forgot their season runs at a different time! so just bought in a couple of players to fill the gaps till the end of the season..

Must say i was delighted to get Jamil Adam to sign! could be a massive player for this level of football!

And this veteran polish player! signed him mainly because he can play anywhere on the left,Good capture.
 
this could be interesting, also like your story approach which is close to mine in some ways :)

are you planning taking over Iceland NT at some point?

Going to concentrate on these for a few season's to build up my rep :) just finished season 1...

Season 1
So after the first season in charge,Also considering i took over halfway through..i think i managed to do ok,
finishing 3rd which mean's 2 consecutive season's in the Europa league (don't mind that!)

Looks like "FH" are going to be the team to beat in Iceland..wrapping up the league title with 3 game's in hand,Not to mention the cup victory they picked up! here's how the table looked on after the final day's games...

Captain marvel! did nothing spectacular during the season but done his job well as the anchor man in my 4-5-1 formation..seem's to be the old fashioned type of midfielder! made a big difference when needed.

2nd place goes to the 37 year old work horse! been a good player,consistent with an eye for goal..popped up here and their with that vital goal that will sometime go un noticed!

And my player of the season..Jamil Adam! I know what you might think,"Hold on..player of the season with only playing 10 games?" but yes..because they had no recognised goal scorer..he's come in when i took over and impressed! looking forward to seeing him next season if i can keep hold of him.


So their we go,
Overall not a bad season..looking forward to building my own team for next year..will post my pre-season update ASAP,

Are there any special rules in iceland like non-EU players or U21s in the match squad??

BTW I like your layout - no nonsense and just getting down to the game and not loads of stuff about your fictional life

ermm its just..max non-EU players is 3 in the match squad, and maximum of 4 loan players,

and thank you! haha i just lack imagination and plus i don't really like that whole side of the stories! this will do for me :)
 
Hello again!,

Just finished my pre season friendlies and transfers so here are a few screenshots of what took place!

So apart from the win over Dinamo Bucharest it wasn't really a good pre season for results,
But as many of you can tell this wasn't about the results!

I may get judged for it..but after viewing the clubs bank balance i had no other option than to arrange these friendlies! haha
Which i may add raised well over £100,000 and for that money i'l happily take a few beatings :)

Onto the transfer's..Nothing exciting im afraid as the club seems to not be able to attract any type of footballer with a name for himself which is a shame..But i'm hopefull i can change that in the coming seasons..So here's what i managed to pick up...

Also got offered this guy? Lenny! classic brazilian name! but he really impressed me in pre season so i reckon he'l light up the league's of iceland...Everybody needs a bit of samba in their lifes lets be honest!

Overall this is what i got..the rest are just to make up number's along with a couple of exciting youth products i didnt feel the need to waste money on bringing in anymore average player's!

Expecting me to win the league already! but..its their club so im gonna have to do the best i can.

So thats it..my amazing pre season summed up!,
Tune in tommorow to hear how season 2 goes..and maybe il get through to season 3 depending on how good my excuse's are to my girlfriend about not going to see her :)

was impressed with Jamil Adam yet again..Coming up trumps with some vital goals.

Too bad for us..our cup run ended in the semi final with a disapointing 2-0 defeat to KR.

This is just a quick update to bump up my story so you no im making some progress :)

just interested to know if yo continued the save?
I started with the new database updates with this Strjarnan FC team,and I won the cup and leading the league but it gets a bit boring as to keep motivated to play when you are winning pretty easily?
I just signed 4-5 players.
Any help?
