yeah, i was watching it on sky, and when the camera goes close up when theyre on the wing, it looked a bit dug up and slippery, but st james' park was like that at the weekend, and probably quite a few other pitches, its just off all the snow we've had.

"They made technical mistakes as well because the pitch is not good enough to play good football. It is bouncy and slippery.

TBH this is just non sense. This is not the first time he came up with these sort of comments.

Well aren't We lucky that United were playing on a completely different pitch!!
That's how you beat Arsenal!! Put them on a ****** pitch and we stay on a perfectly playable one.
