STORY RUNS TO END OF AUGUST!

Fans of League 1 club Sheffield Wednesday are calling this season a league 1 tour.

Sheffield Wednesday who were relegated last season from the Coca Cola Championship are now playing there football in Npower League 1 the owls fans are calling it a league 1 tour!

Everybody knows Sheffield Wednesday have a great fanbase home and away they have some decent players with the likes of Nicky Weaver,Mark Beevers,Jermaine Johnson,James O'Connor,Gary Teale,Clinton Morriosn and Neil Mellor all these players have Championship experaince and since Alan Irvine brought nine signings in to the club the owls fans are already suggesting promotion.

Can Alan Irvine get Sheffield Wednesday back to the Championship? he knows that this is a tough league and Sheffield Wednesday are going to be in the Johnstones Paint trophy and the 1st round of the Fa Cup.

Alan Irvine has a great setup of staff and players but he had to comment on the owls great fans "Every where Sheffield Wednesday were playing last year the fans sold out there allocation the atmosphere is great there" the Scottsman added.
