Every team suffers a bit of a dip in form, now it's out of the way you can make a push for Europe in the second half of the season. Di Maria is a great signing too.

Enjoying the story, keep it up!

West ham 1 - 1 Fulham Elm 22, Noble 42, m/pen 54
Disappointing result, we outplayed them and obviously, missed a penalty. Need to start stringing some wins together.

West Ham 3 - 0 Wigan Cole 35, Upson 58, 90
A good win and three points in the bag. We played nice, direct, attacking football. Very pleased.

Tottenham 1 - 0 West Ham Jadson 45+4
Desperately unlucky, it was an even game but the goal went in so deep into first half stoppage time, there was only 2 scheduled minutes.

West Ham 1 - 0 Sunderland Di Maria 45
Not the greatest performance in the world, but we win it with a set piece. Beckham's corner converted by Di Maria, his first Hammers' goal.

Burnley 2 - 5 West Ham Ashton 15, Patterson 20, 56, Cole 44, 73, Noble 47, Upson 87
Good win! Brilliant attacking performance, conceding two against the bottom club is however, frustrating.

Hull City 0 - 2 West Ham Noble 24, Parker 37
The two men that have carried the side both get on the score sheet with long range strikes.

FA Cup 5th Round
West Ham 3 - 0 Watford Dyer 10, Loach O.G 15, Noble (pen) 55
A comfortable win for us. Into the quarter finals of the FA cup, we've met the board's expectations and now believe that we can win it.

Liverpool 2 - 4 West Ham Benayoun 1, Cole 55, 60, 90, Torres 64, Ashton 71
We've done the double over a struggling Liverpool. We played a very attacking line-up and formation and worked brilliantly. Carlton Cole's hat-trick was well earned, he has had a great season and is developing a good partnership with Ashton.

West Ham 3 - 1 Aston Villa Agbonlahor 1, Ashton 42, 90, Cole 54
After the win against Liverpool it was important that we built on it and we did so. We were lucky to go in level at half-time but in second half we were the dominant team. Good win and good run we're on.

FA Cup 6th Round
West Ham 1 - 0 Everton Ashton 45+3
Delighted. What a day, West Ham are in the semi-finals of the FA cup where we will play Chelsea or Stoke....Chelsea then.

We're on a good run of form going into a tough few fixtures. There has been a board takeover been going on for some months now and we are under a transfer embargo, i'm just worried that it won't go on into the summer and the transfer market.

---------- Post added at 12:06 AM ---------- Previous post was yesterday at 06:06 PM ----------

West Ham United's takeover has today been confirmed. David Henry has taken over and had told the manager Chris Moffatt that he can continue as manager until at least the end of the season.

Blackburn 2 - 1 West Ham Diouf pen 31, 71 Ashton 90
Highly controversial. Beckham's free-kick rattles the post and bounces to Diouf who runs up the other end and wins a harsh penalty. Diouf destroyed us at Upton Park and again today.

West Ham 1 - 2 Man City Adebayor 11, Cole 60, Robinho 77
Awful performance. They played whole of second half with ten men and we never got on top of them. one of the worse performances under my management.

Chelsea 1 - 1 West Ham Ashton 24 Lampard 68
Good performance and result against a lowly Chelsea (4th)

West Ham 2 - 0 Arsenal Cole 44, Gallas O.G 45
Arsenal were level on points with us prior to this game but even i didn't expect the first half performance, he destroyed them. Parker got sent off in first minute of second half so it was a defensive masterclass by our boys in second half.

As the end of the season approaches West ham are within 3 points of 4th placed Chelsea and occupy 6th place. With United, City and Spurs contending for the league, it looks as though the top four could be given a complete makeover this season.

im curious about your takeover. are you given any injection of funds? cos in most of my takeover games only the chairman changed and nothing else :'(

anyway, your doing pretty well. could we see the league table? :)

Well the takeover hasn't changed much, we're still in debt. Not quite as much though, he didn't mention anything about transfer funds but i'm hoping i can at least get more money to spend than this year :)

Here's the league. as you can see it has been a crazy season:

Stoke City 1 - 5 West Ham Ashton 6, 38, 47, 61 Huth 65, Jiminez 85
A cracking performance especially from Dean, if he can keep fit next season he should be able to get at least 20+ league goals.

FA Cup Semi Final
Chelsea 1 - 1 West Ham (West Ham win 3-2 on pens) Beckham 47, Liedson 90+2
What a game, after a well worked goal we were hanging on for our lives, defending brilliant under constant Chelsea pressure, UNTIL...heartbreak, a goal deep into stoppage time against our fiercest rivals in the Semi-Final. Disaster! however, we got ourselves back into the driving seat and reached the lottery that is the shoot-out, we won. What a day!
European football will be at Upton Park

West Ham 2 - 1 Wigan Collison 46, Cole 60, Koumas 78
There is still plenty to play for in the league and we got a good three points to ensure that we're still in the running for a Champions League place.

Portsmouth 2 - 2 West Ham Ashton 3, Utaka 33, Cole 45, Dindane 64
Awful defending ensures that it'll take a minor miracle for us to be playing in Europe's elite competition next year.

West Ham 2 - 0 Wolves Cole 12, Ashton 65
Very comfortable. Good win.

West Ham 1 - 1 Everton Cole 55, Yakubu 80
A win here today and we would finish in fifth place, a win for Everton and they'd finish in fifth place. As it happens, we drew and neither of us finished in fifth place. We are 6th, Everton 7th...solely on goal difference.

FA Cup Final
Man United 2 - 1 West Ham Berbatov 42, Ashton 50, Rossi 60
We were outplayed and they probabaly deserved it, until the 90th minute when a Beckham cross was converted by Ashton to make it 2-2, but the ref disallowd it for some mysterious reason. Even the FA agrees with me that we were robbed. Can't complain too much, we've done well this season.

End of season analysis will be done soon...

End of season update:

Summary:

Overall, I am pleased with this season. My initial expectations were simply to avoid relegation while building a young, British side that could challenge for Europe next season. To qualify for Europe in my first season is a great achivement.

Player of the season:
Probably Matthew Upson, played every game this season and although our defence was pretty poor at times, without him i dread to think how many goals we would have conceded. Mark Noble and Scott Parker are right behind him, the midfield pair were excellent all season long

Top scorer:
Carlton Cole, 24 Premiership goals is nothing short of exceptional. He has had 3 different strike partners and has even had to lead the line himself. He has improved vastly this season with his finishing and his power increasing. Despite this he still wasn't selected for the England team. Baffling

Most assists:
David Beckham, 15 assists. I'm not sure what to make of Becks' season. He assisted more goals than anyone else in the league, however i still think he could have contributed more at certain stages of the season.

Biggest flop:
Sol Campbell. Good first half of the season but his performances got worse with every game. By January he was out of the squad to James Tomkins. He only played one game in 2010.

Best moment of the season:
Probably either the first game of the season, the 4-0 thrashing of United. that game or the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, such drama and getting one over our bitter rivals.

Worst moment of the season:
Probably the two defeats to Tottenham. that or the 2-1 defeat to Man City despite them playing most of the game with 10 men.

Aims for next season:
I want to bring in a good defensive midfielder, such as Fletcher, Cattermole or Veloso. As well as this I want to strengthen the defence and add another striker, ideally Crouch. If i am given enough money then i may take advantage of Arsenal's failure to qualify for Europe and steal some of their young players. Next year i want to push into the top 4.

Right, the new season commences. We brought in Rodwell, Dirk Kuyt, Edin Dzeko and James Milner in pre-season. Hopefully they can enhance the squad as well as the likes of Cole, Noble, Ashton, Collison and Upson maintaining their great performances from last season. We decided againt securing young John Fleck on a permanent deal but will reassess things in both January and next June.

Wigan Athletic 1 - 2 West Ham Cole 17, Ashton 29, N'Zogbia 43
A good 3 points in a game we easily controlled. Last year we were a very narrow team but with Di Maria, Kuyt, Milner and the youngster Stanislas as wingers, we've decided to try and play a wide, fluid game this season.

AGF (denmark) 0 - 2 West Ham Cole 60, Ashton 70
Easy game and once again the two strikers maintaining their form in the absence of Dzeko.

West Ham have announced a link with Queens Park Rangers

Everton 2 - 0 Yakubu 39, Arteta 47
Their keeper had a blinder and Arteta was top class. disappointing. Dzeko's debut wasn't a great one.

West Ham 2 - 0 AGF Cole 49 Ashton 60
Mostly played second stringers but the two strikers did well again.

Europa League tables are announced. West Ham seeded 3rd
Group A
Zenit St Petersburg
Galatasary
West Ham
PAOK

West Ham 2- 1 Man City Tomkins 20, Adebayor 47, Noble 85
First home game in the league is a magical one. Man City only lost twice last season and started this one in style so to inflict such a defeat was fantastic. We had 15 efforts at target to their 3, even if both goals were from set pieces, we deserved it

Unlucky against Everton but other than that some really good results there. :)

Well done so far, your doing really well ! However, you should never have let Jordan Spence go. I'm currently in the 7th season on my game and he is England first choice centre back and playing for Inter Milan. Other than that, great signings in the summer, nice budget for West Ham. I just signed Rodwell for £16m in the pre-season of 2015/16 and he's been fantastic, try make it permanent if you can. Keep up the good work, great read.

Sunderland 1 - 1 West Ham Campbell 68 Noble 87
A late equaliser from the skipper saves us from the brink of a travesty of a defeat, we should have picked up 3 points. We're playing some great football.

Galatasary 2 - 2 West Ham Cole 7, Emre 67. Dzeko 75, Baros 90
Again, very unlucky. They scored twice from counter attacks, we probably should have shut up shop after the second goal instead of going for a third.

Carling Cup 3rd Round
West Ham 2 - 1 Liverpool Ashton 10, Milner 22, Babel 25
Completely dominated but annoyed at conceding.

Sheffield United 0 - 5 West Ham Cole 9, 33, 51 Dzeko 17, Di Maria 62
Cracking away performance and we could have scored many more.

West Ham 2 - 0 Zenit Ashton 21, Noble (pen) 25
A big European night at Upton Park and it was much easier than anticipated, they only tested us from range.

West Ham 2 - 0 Blackburn Dzeko 20 Tomkins 45
I'm thrilled by our performances, we're now up to second and i think we can go close to winning the league this year, in only the second season. Never expected such progress so soon.

Well played Dzeko, Great win against Sheff U!

Impressive signings particularily with Milner and Dzeko, but you'll need them after that tough UEFA cup draw. With Zenit and Galatasary in there it'll be a fight!

nice signing in dzeko guranteed 20 goals a season at least pushing 30 if you play him right, great first season mate
