Getting bored of my other saves so decided to start one with west brom.
Any recommendations on who to sign?
Thinking of playing a 4213 or 4231(with wide players)

i have a west brom save going and its really fun save
my advice would be get george thorne into your first team ASAP he got potenial bags of it
brunt, dorrans, olsson, dawson, foster, mulumbu, ***, long are all great players so they should be your spine
rb is the weakest spot on the team by far i would invest there and sell lightweights like thomas and tchyoi get some real quality on the wings because west brom have a great centre midfield. some good full backs and you will easily finish 8th or higher
 
like he says a RB, so carlos diogo free. stephen kelly is good dont listen to scouts bout 1.2m, leon britton is good for cm :) p.kamani AMR from fulham ive jst posted about him what a TALENT
 
As a West Brom fan all I can really say is that you need to sort out the defence. Definitely need a left back since you only really have Ridgewell but I prefer to play him as a Centreback to make the most of his heading abilities, so I advise you to go for someone like Petar Zanev since he's cheap and pretty good (i missed out on him since he signed for someone else) or you could loan Jack Robinson from Liverpool if you wish to save some money. Also as said above you need a right back, I don't have any suggestions I'm afraid since I just made use of Reid & Jones for the first season, then second season you can get Bosingwa on a free or get Kyle Walker on the cheap (Best option since he's young and on less wages!)

Then you need a striker to bang in the goals, I signed the obvious choice that is Darwin Quintero for 2.2M. Shane long can provide cover if need be since he's pretty good himself. I played Peter Odemwingie mainly on the right wing and had him cutting inside since he can use either foot, but he can also be used as a striker if you sustain injuries. Just for the record Darwin Quintero finished top scorer in the league 1st season with like 41 goals! He is absolutely insane! Destroyed Andy Cole's record of 34 goals ;)

Also keep Graham Dorrans at all costs! He got 27 assists for me 1st season and finished top with those :)

As for the backup keeper I'm not too sure. Ben foster never got injured for me throughout the whole season and Marton Fulop did well for me in the cup games so i don't think you need to, to be honest, the best thing to do is save the rest of the money so you keep your bank balance quite high and then the following season you'll have more money to spend on transfers since your bank balance is pretty high. I was given £17M to spend second season after finishing 9th and they also upgraded my stadium to 38,000. But the following season it is possible to get Rene Adler in goal if he gets released on a free, although he doesn't have very good aerial ability, he makes up for it in reflexes and one on ones.
 
J.Blackmall or sumat from chelsea is usually transfer listed as gk he cost £55k!!! and he has 4star pot!
 
that win was lucky , piatti should of scored at least 5 but foster had a stormer!

Still looking for a right back if anyone knows any that are willing to join me :)
& ill have a look at that keeper tommy :)
 
you could keep reid and jones they arent the best but boswingha becomes a free at the end of the 2nd season and he is great still
and on my save i got kyle naughton as back up and him and boswingha are averaging 7.23 and 7.36 through out the season
