I've just started with West Ham, noticed the same problem, Boa Morte just isn't up to standard, definitely the weakest position. Would be interested in knowing who you went for in the end? No one mentioned him, but if you're still looking, I've had good results with chris brunt before.

Niko Kranjčar, Danijel Pranjić, Pedro Morales?

If you can, I'd advise you to get Niko Kranjčar, first dude on my list.

If not, maybe Fabio Coentrao (if he can play as ML, not sure)?

I got Martin Zeman, fantastic value for money - just £1.4m. Great dribbler, value now £2m, after only half a season.
