Not such a good result against Man City. Maybe the keeper is having problems.

how do i make that with ozil?

yes, i know :S the goalkeeper have been great and the defense was good in that game, wich surprises me, the problem was in front, the forwards ended playing with a 5 rate. I think they were too strong in defense and we couldn«t make impact

Lyon - 1 - 0 - West Ham (2nd Champions League Group Stage Match)

View attachment 84094View attachment 84095

We had a bad game and Lyon overcamed us easily. They were better in all aspects of the game and we couldn't stand against them. The goal came at 64th minute by Bodmer and they created opportunities to win. Top Players: Godwin Brown, Mesut Ozil, Oscar Cardozo

Tactic: 4-4-2 classic

West Ham - 2 - 0 - Arsenal

View attachment 84096View attachment 84097

With the stadium filled once more, West Ham putting on a fantastic perfomance against a strong opponent. Great ball possession, great opportunities, anulating completely Arsenal. Jack Collison scored at 38th minute after a good team movement, and Miguel Veloso closed the scoresheet in a Penalty at 59th minute. Top Players: Jack Collison, Miguel Veloso, Mesut Ozil

Tactic: 4-3-1-2

West Ham - 1 - 0 - Newcastle

View attachment 84098View attachment 84099

Well, this was another easy win for West Ham, but it was important to see how the team reacted after that 2-0 against Arsenal. I was satisfied with the performance, we could play possession football (60%), and creating chances during all the game. In 17 shots we score only 1 goal, wich demonstrates the continuing lack of finishing in front of goal. Although, we are playing very well at the back and midfield, because we can rotate the ball and create chances, we only have to improve the finishes. Top Players: Welliton, Ochoa, Mesut Ozil

Tactic: 4-5-1

West Ham - 3 - 0 - Unirea Urziceni (3rd Champions Cup Group Stage Match)

View attachment 84100View attachment 84101

This is quite a game to remenber. We completely demolish Unirea and the performance deserved a better result. 28 shots and 61% ball possession, in a match we completely dominated. James Milner, Defederico and Mesut Ozil scored the 3 goals, and Welliton failed a penalty too. Top Players: James Milner, Mesut Ozil, Defederico

Tactic: 4-4-2 classic

Wolves - 1 - 0 - West Ham

View attachment 84102View attachment 84103

In a nervy game, Wolves came out on top in the 94 minute of the game!!! This was a massive blow we had to take but there were some aspects of the game that we could take. In the first half we were better and failed to score, plus, 2 goals were disallowed against us, wich really annoyed me and the players. We have to move on, but I would say the most aplyied result for this game was a draw for what the two teams made in the field. We couldn't play that possession and dominant football that we had been shown is the last weeks and struggle to score goals. Top Players: Carlinhos, Krejci, Ochoa

Tactic: 4-4-1-1

Portsmouth - 2 - 3 - West Ham (League Cup 4th Round)

View attachment 84104View attachment 84105

This may have been one of the best games in all the season, our performance was pretty like against Unirea, we came back with the possession football and made 28 shots. But Portsmouth was the first team to score. After a nervy first half, in wich we made 17 shots and had 67% ball possession, we couldn't score. Halftime. 46th minute: Portsmouth scores. Then I send Welliton on the field and in a 5 minute salvo, we cameback 2-1 on the result, Welliton at 68 and Defederico at 73. But Portsmouth had still a word to say and scored 81st minute by McFadden. A brace from Welliton capitalized the game for us at 87th minute, and the team goes forward to the League Cup Quarter Finals. Top Players: James Milner, Jack Collison, Welliton

Summary

This October month, we ended in 2nd in the table, with 24 points in 10 games, one less than Man City in 9 games,

Stats: 6 Games, 4 Wins, 0 Draw, 2 Loss (9 scored, 4 suffered)
Major Problems: One bad match against Wolves and sometimes bad finishing
Good Aspects: Dominant Playing in almost every games
